Summary	Exterior view of the facade of the Star Hook and Ladder Company fire station on 6th (Sixth or Alpine) Street between Taos and Griffith Streets in Georgetown, Colorado. Built in 1886, the two-story building has a decorative bell tower with bell on the top of the building, three windows and a decorative wood balcony on the second story, and and on the first story, a door, window and large double door to accomodate the fire truck and ladder. The corners of the building have boards arranged to give an ashlar masonry effect. The fire company's crest is mounted just below the bell tower on the front of the building.
