Summary	Night view of a group of Native American (Crow) men dancing around a fire near tepees. One man plays a drum which he holds in his hand as four others circle. The dancer's wear breast plates, breech cloths, feather bustles, and head wear that includes roaches. Another Crow stands in shadow, wrapped in a blanket, to the viewer's right.

Notes	Formerly F23021.; Included with photographer's inscription on front of print: "6859."; Title and "The most weird and spectacular phases of the Indian life is the dance at night around the flickering camp fires. Fantastic figures move about like shadows to the rythm [sic] of the throbbing tom-toms" hand-written on back of print.; R7100312678
