F.; Title and date hand-written on back of photoprint.; Typed label with photoprint reads: At the ball, music was provided by the United States Marine Band. When a marine saw a pretty girl on the floor with whom he wanted to dance, he would drop his instrument, vault from the platform to the floor and swing her away. This marine is Ken Douse, who plays an alto saxophone, shown dancing with Imelda McCarthy of Pueblo, Colorado, a blues singer who sang with the Marine band as part of the entertainment at the ball.; R7100018012
