The frame has vegetal flourishes in the lower corners, and the entire top consists of cut through scrollwork, flourishes and a central beaded escutcheon filled with carved flowers. A hanging lamp and framed image of a vase of flowers are reflected in the mirror, and the wall behind it is papered in chintz. Scene includes a side chair with carved cresting, demi arms and velvet upholstry and a stool with a crocheted antimacassar.
