Summary
A winter view of the Colorado Central Narrow Gauge railyards shows the one-story Central City building and the one story Black Hawk building. The Central City building has a gabled roof, a window, and a sign that reads "Central City 8475 Ft above sea level." The one story Black Hawk building has a gabled roof, rectangular windows, a door, and a sign that reads "Black Hawk 8032 ft above sea level." The two buildings stand side by side and across from the train tracks, where an engine and a caboose and an engine and a car are behind each other. Other train cars on an second track are behind the track with the engines. A large, masonry warehouse with a gabled roof covered with tin is beneath the ridge where the tracks are located. Part of the writing on the building reads "MDSE." A paved road runs in front of the building, on the other side of which is a field covered with snow. A house and a garage are on the hill behind the trains and a mill is in the background.
