Title	1st grade art work at Central, 1941
Summary	Boys and girls sit around rectangular tables making art with clay in a first grade classroom at Central School in Alamosa, Colorado. Some children stand at a blackboard painting on paper with a table of paint jars and brushes behind them. An easel in the corner by the door has the Jack and Jill rhyme on it. Reading exercises with pictures hang on the bulletin board. The lowercase alphabet is across the top of the board on the other wall. A wooden door with glass panes is in the corner between the two walls. An intercom speaker and a pencil sharpener hang near the door.
