A wood frame schoolhouse on a hill in Alice, Colorado, was built in 1915 and operated until 1939. A small boy stands in front of the school and an automobile is parked on the side of the building. The schoolhouse has a hipped roof with a triangular gable dormer, contrasting trim boards, panel entry door, sash windows, and a flagpole. Dense evergreens are in the background.
