Summary	Exterior view of Herman Conrow's residence, formerly the Old Homestead, 353 (or 367) Myers Avenue, Cripple Creek, Colorado; this prominent "parlor or sporting" house operated for nearly 20 years then became a private residence until it reopened in 1950's as a museum; four- door sedan is parked in front of residence; the two-story flat-roof brick residence has a bay window and open porch with native rock or stone columns.

Notes	Formerly negative F28458.; Title and date hand-written on back of photoprint with additional information: "Now occupied by Herman Conrow whose rich strike on Portland lease was given nationwide publicity in summer of 1946. The "Old Homestead", the most famed house of ill fame in the Cripple Creek district was for several years operated by Hazel Vernon who later had a place of the same name on Market Street in Denver, 1/20/47."; R7100007833
