Nederland, Boulder County, Colorado, looking north, includes buildings (l to r): Caribou (Pareed I. Cesttor) Mill; residence of W. G. Bryant, and Hetzer Hotel and stable. Brown's Hotel (extreme right) was built ca. 1860, by Nathan Bolly Brown. Nederland's early name of "Brownsville" "Brown's Crossing" sprang from this structure, said to be the first in the area.
