Summary
Reproduction of an A. P. Proctor engraving of a scene after the lynching of Sanford C. Duggan, murderer and fugitive, Cherry Street, Denver. The dead man hangs from a rope noose thrown around a leaveless cottonwood tree. A policeman breaks up a fight with his stick held between two photographers trying to capture the view. One of their cameras on a tripod is on the ground. Buildings in background include a blacksmith shop and a livery and hay barn.
