Shows a Native American (Ute) toy cradleboard. It is constructed of a rectangular board, buckskin, red velveteen and canvas and decorated with copper, button, fringe, white, blue, red and yellow glass beads. The cradle has a hood and the front was painted yellow originally.

Top is decorated with semi-circle of white, blue, red and yellow beads across front and fringe across back. The sack for doll has lengthwise decoration of alternating rows of blue, yellow and red beads with white beads. Entrance of sack is finished with strip of red velveteen embellished with rows of blue and yellow beads around edge. Hood of rushes is edged around face with yellow material; piece of white material is tacked to one side. Strings of copper and light blue attached to each side of entrance. Bottom of board finished with fringe. Back has thong loop. Close to top; thongs and strip of canvas close to bottom. Front was painted yellow originally."
