Summary	View of the University of California campus at Berkeley, California. Buildings include North Hall, in the Victorian Second Empire style, it has mansard hip roofs with cast iron cresting, an attic with round arched dormers with hood molding and chimneys. The facade has two square towers with ogee dormers in the attic. The building has a cornice with a modillion course below the attic. The buildings has a covered porch with two entrances and two external stairways that connect the towers. A balcony with a balustrade is on top of the porch. Shows a partially obscured view of Bacon Library (Bacon Hall), designed by John A. Remer and completed in 1881. The building is also in the Victorian Second Empire style. It has a central clock tower with turrets and is flanked by matching wings also with mansard roofs and dormers and fanlight windows. East Hall, a neoclassical style U-shaped building with pilasters, pillars, a gabled roof, pediments, and a balustrade parapet. The Chemistry building is in the distance with an ornate shaped parapet, and a gallery with arches. The Mining Building, is a Victorian Second Empire style three story building with mansard roofs, cast-iron cresting, arched, pedimented, wall dormers, arched and ogee windows, an ædicule with columns and a pediment. The building has a covered entrance with columns, dentils, a balconet and balustrade. An unidentified two story building with a half basement has curved and square pilasters between the windows, balconets with balustrades and a decorative balustrade on the roof.
