View of the Old Faithful Inn designed by Robert C. Reamer at Yellowstone National Park. The log and wood frame structure is seven stories high. The porte-cochere is recessed under the large gable roof of the central section of the building along with a second-story porch directly above it. Piers supporting the porte-cochere and porch are surrounded by battered log cribbing. The central section of the hotel has a double gable roof with multi-sized dormers, the second and third floors are frame and are cantilevered beyond the first floor's perimeter and are shingled. Projecting out from the eaves of the main gable are outlookers supported by gnarled log brackets (outriggers). Shows the three and a half story wings. Has crossed gabled roofs and various sized dormers. The first floors are log construction, the higher floors have yard long shingles. The paired single casement windows have various multi-light patterns of diamonds, circles, and rectangles. There are several bay windows. The roof of the main building has a log "crow's nest." Trees and a dirt drive are near the hotel.
