Summary	Men, women and children pose on the stairs of the Irwin school house building in Irwin (Gunnison County), Colorado. Men, teachers, and probably students wear fitted dresses or pinafores. Children and a dog sit on a step. William S. Hinkley stands between two women; Charles N. Shaw poses in the doorway. The school has a gabled roof, clapboard and board and batten siding and a metal chimney pipe.
