Summary	A man wears suspenders and a hat and stands at the doorway of a stone house with a shingle roof in Amity, a Salvation Army colony, in Prowers County, Colorado. Brooms made with straw and wooden handles are on display beside stone walls. The building, a broom shop probably owned by Frank McAbee, is built partly underground. Grass and rocks are on the treeless plain.
