Summary	Mexican Americans Frances Roybal, Sadie Gomez, and Marion Salas, members of the Young Ladies Sodality crown the statue of the Virgin Mary on May Day in Saint Cajetan's Catholic Church, 1190 Ninth (9th) Street, in the Auraria neighborhood, Denver, Colorado. Frances Roybal (later Garcia) wears a long gown and a crown of flowers, she places a crown on the Virgin. Sadie Gomez wears a dress and a hat and Marion Salas wears a dress and a flowers in her hair. A young unidentified girl stands beside Marion Salas. Shows a side altar with a statue of Saint Francis of Assisi.
