Summary	U.S. Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell and César Chávez, Jr., grandson of Cesar E. Chavez, unveil lettering on the rededicated Cesar E. Chavez Memorial Building, 1244 Speer Boulevard in the Civic Center neighborhood, Denver, Colorado. The two men admire the incised sign and hold the fabric used at the unveiling. The letters read: "César E. Chávez Memorial Building." A sign on the stone canopy behind them reads: "Federal Building."

Chavez Memorial Building was designed by the architectural firm of Murata Outland Associates, Inc. It originally was known as the Colonnade Building but was redesignated in 2003 as the Cesar E. Chavez Memorial Building to keep alive the memory of Cesar Chavez 's sacrifice for the millions of people whose lives he touched.
