Summary
Studio portrait of Hispanic American Donaciano Córdova and Margarita Yasabel Santistevan Córdova. Donaciano stands beside his wife, he wears a suit and tie, his hair is parted on the side, he has a full mustache and his hand rests on his wife's shoulder. Margarita sits in a chair, she wears a long dress; the collar, bodice and skirt are decorated with woven fabric panels. He dark hair is pulled back, she has two curls that frame her face.

Content derived from inventory prepared by Dana EchoHawk.; From inventory: Donaciano Córdova was born August 30, 1861 in Taos New Mexico. He served as Taos County Treasurer. He owned a farm in Los Córdovas, Colorado, a sheep ranch in Beshoar, Colorado and a home in Trinidad, Colorado. He married Margarita Santistevan in Taos, N.M. in 1883. She was born December 11, 1865 in Taos and died August 31, 1943 in Trinidad. She was the daughter of Juan Santistevan, a Taos businessman and politician.
