Summary
Studio portrait of Hispanic American State Representative Casimiro Barela and his wife Damiana Rivera de Barela. Damiana stands, she wears a long, black silk dress with a fitted Basque and a bustle, the bodice is decorated with black lace. She wears her hair parted in the middle and pilled back into a bun. Her husband sits beside his wife. He wears a black suit and vest, celluloid collar and a wide necktie. He has a watch fob on his vest. He wears his dark hair parted on the side, and combed back and has a walrus mustache.
