Summary	Hispanic American José Benito Córdova and his wife Marina Rivera de Córdova pose with their families at their two story, Territorial style, adobe house in Las Córdovas, near El Moro (Las Animas County), Colorado. The house has a balcony and covered porch. Family members pose on the balcony and in front of the house. An African American woman and child stand near the door.

Notes	Content derived from inventory prepared by Dana EchoHawk.; From inventory: "José Benito Córdova and his wife Marina Rivera were both from Taos, New Mexico. They later settled in Los Cordovas, Colorado, a settlement along the Purgatory River (Rio de Las Animas Perdidas en Purgatorio), approximately two miles east of El Moro, (Las Animas County), Colorado. The architecture of their home reflects the Taos and Santa Fe Territorial styles of that era, two stories and full balconies."
