View of the Martin Luther King Memorial (1976; Sculptor-Ed Rose) in City Park, Denver, Colorado. Shows a bronze and sheet metal statue of civil rights leader Martin Luther King with his hand on the shoulder of Emmitt Till. Till was murdered in 1955 in Money, Mississippi. In 2002 the statue was moved to the Martin Luther King Jr. Museum and Cultural Center in Pueblo, Colorado. The City Park pavilion is in the distance.
