The Nineteenth Century commercial-style building has been painted white. The end portions of the building have single storefronts with transoms above the doors and large display windows with kick plates. There are rectangular windows on the top floors. The central section of the block has multiple storefronts and round-topped arches over the second floor windows. Signs read: "Tandy leather Company" "Leathercraft Supplies for Schools, Scouts, Camps" Broadway Hotel" "[F]ront Door Lounge" and "Barber Shop." The entire block has a corbeled cornice with arches. The International-style "Hilton Hotel" (1958-1960; I. M. Pei and Partners), 1550 Court Place, and an office building are in the distance.
