Summary
View of the Emmanuel Gallery (formerly the Emmanuel Episcopal Church and Congregation Sherith Israel), at 1201 10th Street on the Auraria Higher Education Center campus in Denver, Colorado. The architectural style is mixed Romanesque and Gothic. The rusticated stone building was built in 1876 by Episcopal Bishop John F. Spaulding and rehabilitated in the 1970's by Gale Abels & associates. The building has a door with an arched lintel inscribed in Hebrew, a large round window with mullions, small roundel windows with keystones on the bottom and small buttresses. Windows in front and along the sides of the building have Gothic arches. A cast iron fence surrounds the gallery.
