View of the abandoned Tivoli-Union Brewery (later the Tivoli Student Union), located at 1342 10th (Tenth) Street (later 900 Auraria Parkway) on what is now the Auraria Higher Education Center campus in Denver, Colorado. The brewery was built in 1881, with subsequent additions in 1890 by Frederick Eberly. This view shows the former brewery before extensive restoration. The complex includes the former West Denver Turnhalle Opera House, seen in the foreground, designed by Harold Baerresen and constructed in 1882. A sign on the building reads: "West Denver Turnhalle 1882." The seven story tower has a mansard roof with roof dormers, crenelated parapets, square and arched windows, arched false windows, cornices, and modillions. There is a Star of David on the front of the building with a sign that reads: Tivoli - Union. A neon sign reads: "Tivoli" and a painted sign on the side of the building reads "Tivoli Beer." Signs over the front door read: "Denver Beer" and "Tivoli Brewing Co." A sign over a door reads: "Hop Storage."
