View of the blue and white Tivoli Student Union (formerly the Tivoli-Union Brewery), located at 900 Auraria Parkway on the Auraria Higher Education Center campus in Denver, Colorado. The brewery was built in 1881, with subsequent additions in 1890 by Frederick Eberly, additions and renovations in 1980 by HOK (Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum), and interior renovations in the 1990's by HOK. The remodeled building has a large chimney with a sign: "Tivoli" a seven story tower with a mansard roof with roof dormers, two smaller towers, one with a gabled roof and the other with battlements. The buildings have arched and square windows, and a shaped parapet. A sign on the front of the building reads: "Tivoli, Denver." Buildings in the Denver skyline in the distance include: the Larimer Place, 17th Street Plaza, One Tabor Center, Plaza Tower, Independence Plaza, U.S. Bank, and the U.S. West (Qwest) Building.
