Summary	View of the Bouvier-Lothrop House (1890; Robert G. Balcomb and Eugene Rice, architects) at 1600 Emerson Street in the North Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. Shows a two-and-one-half-story residence with a mixture of Queen Anne, Richardsonian Romanesque, and Neo-classical stylistic elements. Constructed of brick, the house has decorative stonework. Notable features on the facade include a front-facing gable, a pedimented entry porch, a voussier arched window with a keystone and a corner tower topped with a conical roof and finial. There are two chimneys and a dormer window on the shingled roof. Named for Michel Charles Bouvier, an owner of the house, and Wilbur C. Lothrop, a tenant.
