Summary	View of the abandoned Gardner House (1873) before restoration, 1033 Ninth (9th) Street, located in Ninth Street Historic Park, Auraria Ninth Street Historic District, Auraria Higher Education Center, Denver, Colorado. Shows an abandoned three story wood frame building with clapboard siding, a cross gable roof, a corbeled cornice and brackets, scroll-sawn bargeboard and finial, partial window surrounds and a wrap around porch. The house has a small tower with a hip roof and windows with scalloped surrounds, a corbeled cornice, decorative brackets and fish scale shingle siding. The second floor has a small covered porch with scroll-sawn and spindle decoration and is located beneath the tower. The building has a brick chimney.
