Summary
View of the National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum located in the former Lake County High School, 120 West 9th Street, Leadville, Colo. Built in 1900, the two-story brick structure has ornate pedimented dormers with urn finials and corbeled compound brick chimneys. The school closed and became the mining museum in the mid 1980s.
