View of the Climax Mine and Bartlett Mountain located approximately 13 miles northeast of Leadville in Climax, Colo. The mine began shipping ore in ca.1915 and at its highest output was the largest molybdenum mine in the world. For many years it supplied three-fourths of the world's supply of molybdenum.
