View of the Garfield County Bank, now known as the Bank Saloon, located at the southeastern corner of 1st Street and Parachute Avenue, Parachute, Colorado. Built in about 1890, the one-story brick corner building has decorative corbels on either side of the front entrance with a corbeled cornice and a diaper frieze above flattened-arch openings over the doors and windows. Closed in 1937, the bank has been converted to a town saloon and social center.
