View of the renovated front of the Egyptian Theatre at 452 Main Street in Delta, Colorado. The theater has an Egyptian deco design, with a winged sun disc over the double entrance doors. The facade is pale stucco, with darker paint trim along the shaped parapet and around the windows. Pillars between two windows have hieroglyphs painted on them. The marquee over the entrance and ticket office reads: "Star Wars Episode I, 700 915." The theater was built in 1928 and designed by Montana S. Fallis as part of the Egypt mania that swept the globe after the discovery of King Tutankhamen's tomb.
