The sign hangs over the log entry and reads "Russellville Ranch" a red metal gate closes off the road to the main house and outlying structures. The two story house has prominent second story gable windows and a full length front porch. The barn, the former stage barn (1861), is built of faded vertical wood planks and has a steep pitched shingled roof. A stone building with a shingled roof is built into the side of a rise.
