Summary	View of the Mercantile Café (formerly Groussman Grocery), located at 906 Curtis Street, in the Ninth Street Historic Park (Auraria Ninth Street Historic District) located on the Auraria Higher Education Center Campus in Denver, Colorado. The two story brick building was designed by architect Frederick C. Ebberly. The house has a patterned cornice, a shaped parapet with a solid balustrade, the wall mounted balusters are corbeled at the bottom and have cement finials on top. There are flat (gauged) arches over the windows. The building has a wooden entry and large plate glass windows, with fielded panels on the bottom. Next door is the Mullen House (1061 Ninth St.), a painted brick house with a small covered porch, windows with flat (gauged arches), a hip roof and iron cresting. A man on a bicycle rides under an elevated portion of the West Classroom Building. The Steeple of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church is in the distance. (St. Elizabeth's Church)
