View of the First Baptist Church at 408 State Avenue in Alamosa, Colorado. The Queen Anne style building has asymmetrical construction with a steeply pitched roof and a dominant front facing gable. The facade has decorative shingling and a pediment entry and bell-tower. It is the only decorative, concrete block, public building and the oldest standing church in Alamosa. The structure is on the National Register of Historic Places.
