Summary	Studio portrait of Colorado State Senator Casimiro Barela from Las Animas County, Colorado, his wife Damiana Rivera de Barela and his second daughter by his first wife, Juanita Barela. They pose in front of a painted drop. Damiana wears a black lace and brocade dress, she sits beside her husband. He sits in an arm chair and wears a dark suit, vest, upright collar and bow tie. He has a full, waxed mustache and his dark hair is parted on the side. His daughter stands between her parents, she has her hand on her fathers shoulder and wears a basque with a pleated front, a lace collar and crocheted sleeve decorations and over skirt.
