Nichols has frequently described to you the change He and Tuttle made in the frontage of the lots in Blk [block] 44, Greely The change was made, but no record, it now seems was made on the books of the County. Here is where the trouble originates, John discovered this and asks for less rent on the strength of it. H.G. & D say his is legally holden for the rent. And I have written them to called it in accordance with the lease. John knew just what he was doing, when he signed the lease & must abid [abide] by it. I hope you will have no further annoyance from this matter. Hope you have been benefited by you ocean trip. Helen & Leila are both in splendid health.
